Taoyuan, Taiwan (R.O.C.) January 07, 2009 – Chroma Ate Inc. (TAIEX: 2360) today announces the December sales revenues of the year 2009. The December net sales were NTD 437 million, which increased from NTD 379 million last month, represented a MoM growth of 15%. Compare to the net sales of NTD 149 million from December last year, this represented a growth of 193% YoY. The fourth quarter sales revenue was NTD 1,150 million, compared to the net sales of NTD 960 million last quarter, which represented a 20% growth QoQ and a 77% growth YoY. All numbers are stand-alone. The fourth quarter results have shown an improvements in both of the sales revenues and gross margin. This was particularly thanks to the shipments from IC sectors and new application of Battery sectors.
In year 2009, Chroma achieved sales revenues of NTD 3.44 billion, compared to last year of 4.16 billion, which was 17% declined YoY. Even though, the annual sales revenue was declined YoY, but the Company has seen the market condition improved and more capital spending activities. Chroma is confident that the Company’s strengths in new product and application developments and integration capabilities will able to sustain its profitability and growth in the year 2010.
