It supports Simulink Model Based vehicle models for dynamic load simulation, significantly enhancing R&D efficiency and reducing development risk. The system covers performance and durability testing to international standards and offers 219 kW, 2,988 Nm, and 3,300 rpm capabilities with customizable configurations. Its XYZ adjustment platform can integrate climate chambers, water cooling systems, and stall (locked-rotor) testing, delivering exceptional flexibility.
EV & EVSE Charging Test|Chroma 8000
The Chroma 8000 features a two in one architecture supporting CCS1, CCS2, NACS, GB, CHAdeMO, MCS, AC type 1, and AC type 2 standards. It covers communication protocol and bidirectional power transfer (BPT) testing, with built in ISO 15118, DIN 70121, IEC 61851, CHAdeMO, and SAE J1772 test libraries, while allowing fully customizable workflow editing. Combined with automated data analysis and a charging replay function, the Chroma 8000 accelerates cross brand and cross standard charging interoperability validation.
Regenerative Battery Pack Test System|Chroma 17050 & Chroma 17020C
Chroma's Regenerative Battery Pack Test Systems provide flexible support for a wide range of voltage and power levels. The Chroma 17050 features a high power density design offering multiple voltage specifications (100V/600V/1,200V/2,000V), suitable for 18/36/45kW configurations and allowing paralleling up to 40 power modules. The Chroma 17020C supports 10–80kW at 150V, offering versatile capability for various battery pack testing applications. The systems can be integrated with BMS communication, temperature chamber control, and data acquisition, with built in charge/discharge test steps to enable fully automated testing processes. This comprehensive solution helps enhance battery safety, performance, and testing efficiency.
Battery Reliability Test System|Chroma 17010H-6-300HU
To address the increasing demand for high power and fast charging safety in NEVs and energy storage, the Chroma 17010H 6 300HU delivers ±0.015% F.S. measurement accuracy, <1ms current response, and 1ms high speed data logging, capturing pulse and transient behavior during charge/discharge events. It supports three electrode fast charging boundary tests and offers up to 4,800A output, enabling researchers to accurately define safe current limits for fast charging and evaluate battery power limits, laying a crucial foundation for next generation battery development.
Enhancing Lithium Battery Safety〡Chroma 11210 Battery Cell Insulation Tester
Lithium battery fires most commonly occur during charging. The main cause is expansion of the anode material after repeated charge–discharge cycles, shortening the distance between the positive and negative electrodes and increasing the risk of internal short circuits. The Chroma 11210 Battery Cell Insulation Tester uses a unique electrical flashover detection technology, complemented by a built-in +Flash test function, to inspect the effective insulation distance and detect abnormal electronic leakage in lithium battery cells before electrolyte filling. This provides comprehensive quality inspection and helps reduce the risk of fire. The 11210 now features capacitance measurement functionality integrated directly into the testing process. This addition requires no extra test stations or test time, providing users with a more convenient tool for managing battery cell winding and stacking quality—ultimately enhancing battery cell safety and reliability.
Taipei AMPA 2026 will take place from April 14–17 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. We warmly welcome you to visit the Chroma booth (M0806), where you will experience a complete EV test chain in one place—from E‑Axle powertrains and charging interoperability to battery pack mass‑production testing and high‑precision fast‑charging safety R&D.
