Chroma 2238 Video Pattern Generator integrates A222812 HDMI 8K Media Player Module to support HDMI 2.1 dynamic video playback output resolution up to 7680x4320@60Hz and H.265 (HEVC, High Efficiency Video Coding) high efficiency video coding format playback. Easily edit and compose test programs, which eliminates the need for repeated wiring to achieve dynamic and static signal output when combined with the A222805 signal module. This test solution applies to equipment for public and advertising display, but also for laboratories and production testing.
Chroma's New Type-C Video Signal Test Solution
Chroma ATE has launched a new generation of the A223810 Type-C test solution, which supports the following functions:
- USB 3.2 / Pass-Thru & Status Monitor
Supports USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps) / 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps) / USB 2.0 (480Mpbs) transfer rates, provides real-time voltage and current measurement functions for USB, and supports version detection and reading/writing tests.
- USB-C Power Delivery 3.0
Offers USB PD 3.0 (Power Delivery) with PPS (Program Power Supply) and FRS (Fast Role Swap) functions, and supports power source/sink role switching, achieving up to 100W in bidirectional testing of supply and output.
- USB-C Alternate Mode
Provides 8K (7680x4320)@30Hz display testing with up to HBR3 (High Bit Rate 3, 8.1Gbps) bandwidth transmission and MST (Multi-Stream Transport), outputting images by cascading multiple sets of displays with only one output port.
