Chroma's advanced test solutions feature best-in-class accuracy, efficiency, and energy recovery capabilities, including:
High-Power Testing Solutions – Powering the Future of Green Energy
The Chroma 62450D-2000HL series adopts a modular design that enables building a 1.8MW test platform using five 41U racks, greatly reducing space and integration costs. With a wide voltage range up to 2000V DC, the system fully supports mainstream PCS specifications with the flexibility needed for solar and energy storage applications. Paired with the Chroma 61800 grid simulator and regenerative AC load, this solution offers four-quadrant output and grid disturbance simulation with power ratings up to 1.5MVA. Its high-efficiency energy recovery capability greatly reduces power consumption, making for a reliable, repeatable, and efficient platform for renewable energy applications.
High-Efficiency Energy Recovery & Precision Testing – Empowering Battery Quality
Chroma's regenerative battery test systems support a wide range of voltage and power levels, addressing the needs of high-voltage battery systems, space-constrained environments, and module testing. The 17040E offers dual voltage ranges (850V/1700V) and can be scaled up to megawatt-level power. The 17050 features high power density, suitable for 18kW, 36kW, and 45kW testing scenarios. The 17020C covers 10kW to 80kW/150V, enhancing precision and flexibility. The system integrates BMS communication, temperature chamber control, and data acquisition, with built-in charge/discharge test steps for fully automated testing, accelerating product development and validation while improving battery safety and performance.
Master Battery Degradation Analysis with Chroma's All-in-One Testing Upgrade
Chroma introduces the 17010H Battery Reliability Test System with integrated EIS functionality, allowing automatic switching between DC charge/discharge and AC impedance measurement. This eliminates the complexity and error risks of traditional multi-station testing. A single EIS tester supports up to 72 channels, enabling simultaneous impedance measurement and data logging for improved efficiency and consistency. Integrated with a Hioki analyzer offering 0.1μΩ resolution, the 17010H is ideal for evaluating low-impedance lithium batteries with scalable, precise, and stable testing.
Also featured will be the 17208M-5-12C High-Precision Charge/Discharge Tester, designed for Differential Voltage Analysis (DVA) and Incremental Capacity Analysis (ICA). With 10ppm precision and 100ppm accuracy, it ensures low-noise output throughout the test, enabling clear DV/IC curve generation for efficient and reliable battery degradation assessment.
Chroma's New Battery Insulation Tester – Enhancing Process Quality and Safety
The Chroma 11210 Battery Cell Insulation Tester, combined with the A112101 PD/Flashover Analyzer, now features capacitance measurement functionality integrated directly into the testing process. Requiring no extra test stations or test time, this provides users with a more convenient quality management tool for battery cell winding and stacking. By analyzing capacitance values, it can also detect issues such as dielectric breakdown due to heat, material inconsistencies, and equipment aging early on, reducing internal short-circuit risks and enhancing battery safety and reliability.
As the world moves toward net-zero carbon emissions, Chroma ATE continues to drive innovation with green technology. By helping customers enhance product reliability and energy efficiency, Chroma is committed to building a low-carbon, sustainable industrial ecosystem.
We warmly invite you to visit our booth (#I0203A, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1) and explore the future of green energy testing with Chroma.
