ORV3 (Open Rack Version 3) Power Shelf is a power solution designed specifically for data centers and large-scale server architectures. Current mainstream products can deliver up to 33kW of power within a 1OU height, with high-power models reaching 72kW. These Power Shelves require high-efficiency conversion (such as 80 PLUS certification) to minimize energy loss. They also feature redundancy and hot-swappable capabilities to ensure stable operation even during PSU module replacement. 
Chroma offers test solutions tailored to Power Shelves that comply with the OCP RV3 testing guidelines. These solutions effectively verify real world performance and reliability, ensuring Power Shelves meet the stringent operational standards required by data centers. Low-Inductance Cable and Busbar Design for Peak Load and EDPP Dynamic Load Response Testing

To meet the ORV3 specification requiring 160% Peak Load testing for rapid load response in server systems, Chroma has meticulously designed low-inductance soft copper cables paired with low-inductance parallel busbars in high-power DC electronic load cabinets. This design supports Peak Load and EDPP (Electrical Data Peak Processing) dynamic load response testing, delivering fast current slew rates and minimizing overshoot current characteristics.
