Chroma ATE Inc. has filed a lawsuit under the Fair Trade Act against Good Will Instrument Co., Ltd. (GW Instek) for manufacturing and selling an automatic test system product (also named “ATS-8000”) that, without authorization, uses the product name and user interface of Chroma’s switching power supply automatic test system "8000" (widely known in the market as ATS 8000).

Chroma has long been committed to delivering technologies needed by industry today while developing innovative solutions for tomorrow. The Chroma ATS 8000 offers a high degree of compatibility, enabling users to perform tests using multiple instruments concurrently without concerns about driver or interface-related incompatibilities, resulting in significantly increased testing efficiency.
