The Chroma 2932 FPD Information Management System is a powerful software solution designed for integration with Chroma's Flat Panel Display (FPD) testers. It enables users to manage workstation status, collect measurement data, conduct big data analysis, and generate reports all from a single, unified platform.
*Customized solutions can be tailored to factory configurations. Please contact Chroma sales for details.
Designed to extend and enhance the capabilities of Chroma FPD testing instruments beyond single-station setups, the 2932 FPD Information Management System enables administrators to manage test programs, monitor and track the status of multiple workstations in real time, and streamline report management to achieve greater efficiency and consistency across testing operations.
Test Stations
The Chroma 2932 FPD Information Management System provides comprehensive functionality for tracking and managing regional workstations. Administrators can define the number of workstations under management, configure connection details, and either assign processes to each workstation individually or deploy them to all with a single click. Test programs are transmitted directly to the selected workstations for execution. Users can then manually verify the test results (OK/NG), which are automatically compiled and displayed in intuitive graphical charts, giving administrators immediate insight into workstation performance.

Administrators can use the Fab View function to monitor the health and self-test results of equipment, conveniently checking each workstation's operational status (station name, update status, image file name, machine temperature). The system generates error codes to assist in troubleshooting and includes machine temperature reporting and intelligent fan speed feedback. By analyzing fan speed, administrators can assess equipment aging to prevent unexpected failures. The factory map layout is also customizable, providing administrators with a convenient UI through which to view test image versions, update statuses, and quickly locate the actual area and position of each device for rapid response.

The 2932 FPD Information Management System includes an Alarm Log function. When an issue occurs at a workstation, relevant error messages are reported in real time. Administrators can review the alarm history of each workstation and, once an issue has been resolved, clear the alarm messages individually or all at once.

For centralized management of measurement data and big data analysis, the system has a built-in Report feature. Administrators can view statistical averages of test items set on each instrument slot, with date ranges selectable by day, month, or year. Chart content can be customized to meet analysis needs.
To prevent data loss or system errors caused by insufficient storage capacity, the Automatic Disk Usage Warning feature enables Administrators to set disk usage thresholds, alert parameters, and check intervals to maintain system stability and data integrity.

The 2932 supports Account Management with role-based access control. Users can be assigned as administrators, engineers, or operators, ensuring secure access to system functions and protecting critical settings and measurement data from inadvertent changes.
Built on an advanced software architecture, the Chroma 2932 FPD Information Management System offers intelligent integration and scalability. After the core system functions are established, additional applications can be expanded through pre-developed modules created by Chroma's software team, tailored to user requirements. The system can offer recommendations regarding test programs based on the type of device under test, as well as deliver proactive insights regarding current operations and risks based on collected data.
Through years of development, customization, and refinement, Chroma has accumulated extensive experience in workstation application software, enabling seamless integration with its flat panel display measurement systems. This results in convenient, real-time monitoring of equipment temperature, operating status, and error code reporting. For customization requirements, Chroma's unified development team for both upper and lower-level system software enables faster and more comprehensive application development, ensuring we can deliver solutions precisely aligned with your specific testing needs.
